Roller Coasters, Ice Cream & Scarves!

The title really says it all. Okie, maybe not to the nakie eye buuuut it is a fabulous summary of yet another day trip w my favorite lady Jennifer. We decided to let our inner child (who are we kidding, it's always out there) take over & indulged in some good old theme park & ice cream & beach stuff. We paid a visit to HKs very own, one & only, home grown theme park - Ocean Park. The park was absolutely MASSIVE & had a curiously elaborate layout with half the park at a lower ground area (called The Waterfront) & the other half up/over the mountain (called The Summit). We galavanted about, trying to find the "scariest rides" and we found some heart stoppers. What was possibly even more amazing was the incredible view we had on the Summit area of the park - you had a gorgeous view of various bays on either side with boats floating on their way.
After too many rides & some windy weather, we headed to Repulse Bay where we HAD TO try this insane ice cream store called Ice Cream Gallery. They have a small shop that offers a diverse/unique array of ice cream flavors including (but not limited to); lobster ice cream (that's right people), bacon&eggs, foie gras & japanese sake just to name a few (ps of course I taste tested all of them). I finally decided on a delicious lemon-ginger mixed which was quite flavorful & refreshing. We wandered along the beach for a bit before hoping on a bus to Stanley Market where we mozzied about & bought some scarves ($20HK each... cheapest I've seen in HK yet!).
